END OF TERM SERVICE FOR THE BOYS

A thought-provoking Chapel service was held today for the boys to reflect on what Good Friday means in the christian calendar. A Reading was read by visiting priest, Father David Guthrie, on the crucifixion and then the Altar was dramatically "stripped" and put into darkness as the boys reflected. A collection was also made for the Anglican Hospital in Gaza, which was damaged in the recent conflict.

ATHLETICS DAY SUCCESS

King's had two wonderful days at Mt Smart last week at both the Senior and Middle School Athletics Day and, for the first time, the Junior School Athletics, out at Mt Smart under glorious sunny skies. All the boys competed well for their Houses and some fantastic results were achieved in a number of events. Special congratulations to Francesco Hazelwood who broke the school record in High Jump, and to Finn Perkinson for breaking the record in the cricket ball throw.

BUDDING TRIATHLETES AT KING'S!

3 Year 7 boys achieved great results at the Auckland Secondary School Triathlon Champs at St Kent’s College on Monday. They all finished very comfortably racing in an Under 14 category despite their young age and it being their first big race.
